Last day!

Today is my last day at L'Anse du Brick. I'm in the bar waiting to go back to the ferry and from there home.

In the last few days, dispite the bad weather (45 kph winds and rain) I have still had fun.

We went to the Cite de la mer: where we went on a submarine, and in a funny simulator, where we had to wear a funny bib and they made us do silly stuff on camera.

We also went to see the Bayeux Tapestry. This was very interesting and had a really good audio for kids. On that trip we also stopped at Dead Mans Corner and a chocolate factory where I made my own bar of chocolate.

Here are some photos of the holiday!
And a video of uncle Steve surfing!

Sunday!

It's Sunday today but first I'm going to catch up on a few days.

Friday: Today we went to Barflueur and did quite a lot! There a fair, loads of fishing boats, a fab cafe and a cool, small beach. At the fair I had a go on this shooting thing and you had to shoot three balloons with four bullets. I got two balloons with one bullet and the last balloon with one bullet, leaving two spare. Stefan won a toy on a claw game and then we went to a cafe and eat crepes.

Saturday: This morning I went rock pooling while my Dad was fishing with my uncle Steve. I caught lots of shrimps and one really big one. My dad only caught a tiddler which he put back in the sea. After that I went to world war II beach 'GOLD' with my uncle Steve and auntie Bumpy, Ollie, Gregor and Eddie. We went in the bongo and had lots of fun. I bought a pilot teddy bear and Eddie got a tank.

Sunday: Today was a lazy day. We did digging in the sandy beach and swiming in the pool. This was the the last day for Grand Ma and Grandpa and the Powells. They had to catch their ferry home today. I really miss them already.

Wednsday!

Today is wedsday (I havn't been blogging for ages!) and we went for a really long bike ride to a light house which was right near a beach. It was a really rubbish beach though because the beach stank and it was coved in snails! I'm at the bar now and my Dad and Brother have gone fishing. I have just had a really good stake hashe (burger) and a delious ice cream with loads of cream and sauce!

Just arrived

Today we arried at France. It was pouring it down and all we cold think of was to go in the pool to stop us from getting all soggy in our clothes! It was really refreshing though because we were all hot and tired from being on the ferry.

We've got to do it on Saturday night beacause we have to wake up at 5:30 am in the morning 'coz the ferry leaves at 9:00ish am! This picture is of our old tent. We have got a new one for this holiday, we bought from Stan the outdoor man. Click here to see which one it is.
